Verizon and Bogus Charges
On 04/14/09 14:53, Kathleen Janoski asked the following question:
How do I get Verizon to help? I have a bogus, unauthorized charge on my Verizon phone bill from ILD Teleservices for voicemail I did not order. Verizon tells me to call the company because they cannot help me. I call ILD Teleservices (800-433-4518) to question this charge. I am then told to call Member's Edge (877-448-3232) to ask them. I call Member's Edge, they tell me I ordered their product, and I need to send a letter to them to receive a credit. Now Verizon was no help. This charge was on their bill, and was told by customer service "you have to fix this yourself." If I have a bogus charge on my credit card, I call the card company. It just stands to reason that if I have a bogus charge on my phone bill, I should just call Verizon. Twice when I was on the phone with a Verizon customer service representative, the connection was cut off.
