VBuzzer Fax Service for the Birds!

A while back vbuzzer informed me they had a fax service to go with their VOIP service. I didn't need to send a fax until today.

I can't stand using windows, but figured to "print" / fax one document it would be ok. I fired up my laptop ftpd' the file over, and printed to the vbuzzer fax.

It gives me an error "The total free pages you have sent is over the limit."

There are TWO MAJOR problem with that error message. 1) I didn't send any free faxes and most importantly, 2) I WANT TO PAY FOR SENDING THIS FAX!

Vbuzzer can BUZZ OFF!

After numerous tries it mysteriously sent a fax.. maybe it was because I complained to their customer service though yet to receive a reply... mayeb its just flaky.

The mystery is solved a few hours later by customer service at vbuzzer...

Please make sure our sending fax service is limited in US and Canada, otherwise you will get the error. You have a lots of free pages to send fax, please try it again. you could send a fax via the windows printer, just choose the "vbuzzer fax printer".

Well... I guess "The total free pages you have sent is over the limit" is a damn strange error for trying to send an international fax!

This morning I see that it now shows my fax attempt that appeared to work yesterday actually failed.

I'm not sure why they wouldn't want to offer a useful service that could be priced profitablly for them... and if not offer reasonable error messages!

Either way... when I find a suitable alternative for faxes... it may become an alternative to vbuzzer's voip service as well!
