I have had Verizon DSL internet now since about late 2003. At first, I had absolutely no problem with the service. It had good speed and I had no connection problem whatsoever. I could plug my phones into the phone jacks in other locations, and as long as I used Verizon's filters everything was hunky dory.Well, the modem that they sent me in the beginning worked great until it had been dropped a time or two too many by someone yanking the cord walking by and finally the ethernet port was beyond repair. I ordered up a new (and supposedly improved) modem (which I had to pay for of course) and hooked that up. That was mid to late 2007 and I have had nothing but trouble ever since.
