    The threats of technology

    08/24/11 07:58

Technology may have made our lives easier and more convenient but it does have its share of threats. Take this war texting scheme that enables one to unlock and start a car engine by intercepting certain text messages. Does it not make you scared that your car could be stolen one day all because of a text message? Car makers should look into this thing before it turns into a security problem or a rampant crime. You know how some people with evil minds would do anything to have power and money, even at the expense of others.

What Should be Done to Bad Apps?

    08/14/11 07:58
We are all pleased with the advanced development of technology in the society today. Most people of today have their own unit of Smartphone, tablet, and the like. We are also pleasured to make use of the various applications featured on these devices. But take note that there are also some bad applications that should be banned. Apple's App Store could be alarmed on this, but they should also think what could benefit their customers. Apple or Google are looking for some certain bad applications that should be removed in some devices.

Cramming isn't only on phone bills but on automatic withdrawals too

    08/04/11 07:58
I was the victim of a cramming scam that involved the automatic withdrawal of a certain amount from my bank account every month by a gym that I had joined. After I had canceled my contract, I still noticed a ten dollar charge being taken from the gym every month. This went on despite me calling and visiting the gym with my bank statements month after month demanding repayment. Every time I went I was told that automatic payments are handled by head office (located across the country) and they were doing the best they could to rectify the situation. Finally, I had my lawyer start harassing the gym and only then did I get a full repayment.
