Most of the smartphones today have gps chips in them. It's a great function actually. You would be able to know where you are if you are lost and get directions in real-time. However, the feature may also bring harm to it's user. Too much information like your actual position could be abused by people who has no good intention. This is maybe why Jay Inslee is so vocal about this matter.
