I have 5 phones lines on my account with Cellular One. My phone broke so I had to switch to AT&T in order to get a new one. So I did. Well I bought this phone that they said was a great phone. I do kinda like the phone but it has its issues.
Well when I went to delete something from my phone it asked me for a pass code. I put in a couple numbers and none of them worked. So I turned to the instructions booklet. The instructions booklet said the code was 9999. I put the code in and it didn't work so I tried it again to see if maybe I put it in wrong.
Again, it didn't work. After I tried the last time an error message showed up on my phone and said I was locked out. I didn't know what to do. I tried to pull the battery and SIM then put it all back and try to turn it on. Nothing would work. I could not get this phone to turn on for anything!
So I had to use my home phone to call tech support. They told me that 9999 should have worked. Well it didn't. They said if I wait til the next day I can go in to my local AT&T store and get a new SIM card for free because the one in my phone was locked up due to me not knowing the right code.
So I had to wait til the next day to get a new one! that was such a pain in the ass!
